Master Data — Partners & Tenants
Section: Master Data
Updated: 2026-05-05
1) Overview
Master Data holds the core reference records that appear throughout all other modules — business partners used on invoices, contracts, and subscriptions, and tenants (the NVG legal entities).
Navigate to Master Data in the sidebar, then choose Partners or Tenants.
2) Partners
Navigate to Master Data → Partners.
A Partner is any external organisation or person that NVG interacts with. Partners are assigned one or more roles that describe their relationship with NVG:
- Customer — receives invoices
- Supplier — sends bills to NVG
- Investor — subscribes to financial instruments
- Candidate — job applicant
- Employee — NVG staff member
- Intermediary — referral or agent partner

Partner Detail
Clicking into a partner opens their detail page. This shows all partner information and — depending on your access — tabs or sections for their related records: contracts, invoices, subscriptions, and documents linked to this partner.
3) Tenants
Navigate to Master Data → Tenants.
A Tenant is one of the NVG legal entities. Tenants appear as the issuing party on invoices, contracts, and official documents. Examples: “New Ventures Group AG”, “NVG Real Estate AG”.
You select the correct tenant when creating invoices, accounting periods, or banking entries. Tenant management is typically done by administrators only.
Tenant Detail
The tenant record holds:
- Full legal name and short name (shown in dropdowns across the system)
- Address and contact details
- Active / inactive status
